Commission a Painting

I accept a limited number of custom commissions each season.

Each painting is created through the same slow, layered process as my exhibited work. They are developed over time, with attention to color, surface, and composition.

What I Make

My work draws from natural imagery such as animals, skies, and atmospheric landscapes to build compositions that feel expansive.

Each painting develops slowly through layered color and attention, resulting in a surface that holds depth and light.

Commissions may include:

• Portraits, with or without environmental elements
• Animals integrated into landscape
• Atmospheric or symbolic compositions

I accept commissions that align with this visual language.

Sizes and Pricing

To keep the process clear and consistent, commissions are offered in defined size ranges.

Small — $300
8 × 10 or 10 × 10
A focused composition with a single subject or symbolic image

Medium — $500 to $800
Up to 16 × 20
More space for complexity, layered environments, or multiple elements

Large — $1,000 and up
24 × 30 and above
For more immersive works with depth and presence

Final pricing depends on scale, composition, and complexity.

Process

Once your inquiry is submitted, I will follow up by email to refine the concept and confirm details.

A 50 percent deposit secures your place.

I work from reference images, either provided or developed collaboratively.

Paintings develop intuitively. I do not provide detailed sketches, but I may share progress when it is helpful.

Final payment is due upon completion before delivery.

Most commissions are completed within 3 to 6 weeks, depending on size.

Shipping is available and calculated separately.

All sales are final.
